BMA lab: Creative processes
with Oren Ambarchi and Will Guthrie
On the morning of the presentation of their latest show, Oren Ambarchi and Will Guthrie will lead a masterclass in which they will discuss their artistic practices and processes. Over the course of 90 minutes, the Australian musicians will guide participants through an active exploration of sound, covering the methodologies they apply in their work and sharing stimuli, ideas and inspirations.

Oren Ambarchi is a composer and multi-instrumentalist whose practice focuses on the exploration of the guitar. He is a prolific solo artist and accomplished collaborator who has performed and recorded with a large number of artists over the past three decades.
Will Guthrie is a percussionist based in France. In addition to various collaborations over the years, he performs solo using different combinations of drums, percussion, amplification and electronics, as well as leading the gamelan orchestra Ensemble Nist-Nah.
