Teacher Training: Unlearning the Gaze
Image, Representation, and Critical Thinking in Education
This training program is based on a reflection on ways of learning to see, interpret, and reproduce images, discourses, and systems of representation, proposing a critical approach to contemporary educational practices. Throughout the session, we explore pedagogical strategies that promote critical thinking, active listening, visual awareness, and the ability to unlearn automatic patterns of interpretation, thereby encouraging more conscious, inclusive, and participatory educational practices.
